Terms and Conditions
Last updated 11 September 2026. Texas, United States. Version 2026-09-11b.
DelayDraft LLC operates the DelayDraft website. It sketches which passenger-rights rules may apply to the flight facts you enter and, after payment, generates a demand letter for you to send. It is not a law firm, not a licensed claims company, and not a substitute for the advice of an attorney. No street address is published; contact is email only.
No representation that compensation is owed
Not every country pays fixed cash for delays. Extraordinary circumstances often block statutory cash even when meals and a hotel are still owed. We will not tell you that you are “definitely owed” money.
DelayDraft LLC does not represent that any passenger is entitled to compensation. Fixed cash payments for delay are not available under every legal regime. Events outside an airline’s control — including weather and air-traffic control — may extinguish or limit a statutory cash claim even where meals, hotel, or other care remain due. Any eligibility display is an informational sketch only. It is not a determination, guarantee, or legal opinion that money is owed.
1. The pack
The list price is $9.99 USD for 1 or 2 named passengers or $24.99 USD for a group claim of 3 to 6 passengers on the same letter. Stripe Checkout may present and charge that amount in another supported currency (Adaptive Pricing). Adding extra names (up to 6) on a group claim does not raise the $24.99 price. Stripe Checkout may offer cards, Apple Pay, Link, Cash App, or Klarna, depending on what Stripe has enabled. Zelle is not a checkout method and cannot unlock a letter. The letter stays locked until Stripe confirms payment.
2. No refund after the letter is unlocked or filed
Once Stripe payment succeeds and the letter is shown, you can copy, download, photograph, and send it. There is no refund after the letter is unlocked. If you file or send the claim to the airline, there is no refund. The fee is for the generated pack, not for a payout from the airline. DelayDraft LLC only generates a demand letter. We have no other contact with the airline. We do not file, call, email, follow up, or collect for you. If the airline pays nothing, you pursue the airline yourself — we are out of it. This charge is for the letter only, not airline compensation.
3. You send the letter
You send the letter and any receipts on the airline’s form or email. We do not file for you, we do not take a power of attorney, we do not negotiate, and we do not take a cut of any compensation. The airline answers you. Passenger-rights laws are enforced against the operating airline — the carrier whose aircraft and crew flew you — not the brand on the ticket or a codeshare marketing flight. You must choose the operator before we sketch eligibility or generate a letter. You confirm the operator you select is accurate.
Disclaimers — including that we do not represent that cash is owed, that extraordinary circumstances can block statutory cash, that this is not legal advice, and that DelayDraft LLC does not file or follow up with the airline — are in these Terms that you sign. They are not printed on the letter you send to the airline. The letter contains your contact, flight facts, the laws you invoke, and compensation or reimbursement you claim.
4. Eligibility is a sketch
Click each law box to read whether it may apply to your route. Amounts, deadlines, and airline URLs change. Official sources are linked in each box. Rules are interpreted by airlines and, if disputed, by the competent authority or court — not by this website. The boxed statement above is part of these terms: we do not represent that a passenger is entitled to a payment.
5. Your facts
You confirm that the names, flight numbers, times, and receipts you enter are true and that you are authorized to send a claim for those passengers. False claims can be refused or pursued by the airline.
6. Receipts and hotel folios
For care reimbursement, airlines typically require an original itemized hotel folio (guest name, dates, room rate, taxes, amount paid) and itemized meal and transport receipts — not a booking confirmation or a credit-card statement line alone. You attach those on the airline’s form when you send the letter. Do not upload passports or national ID here.
7. Limitation
To the fullest extent allowed by law, DelayDraft is not liable for airline refusals, missed deadlines, extraordinary-circumstances disputes, or compensation you hoped to receive. The service is provided as-is. This does not limit rights that cannot be waived under Texas or other applicable law.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Venue for disputes that must be heard in court is Harris County, Texas, except where consumer law requires otherwise.
9. Agreement at checkout
Checking “I agree to the Terms” at checkout is how you agree to these terms. It is not a power of attorney.
10. Contact
The only published contact is claims@delaydraft.com. Email is the only contact we publish. We do not list a street address or a phone number. Do not send passports or national ID to this inbox. Emailing us does not create an attorney-client relationship.
